exams and depression

Hi, i do have mild depression from the beginning of this year, i will be writing exams and i have been extremely stressed, i would like to know if stress contributes to depression and if it makes it worse? because i have been feeling terribly anxious and have not been thinking clearly or rationally.

Stress contributes owards depression, and vice versa. But medication for depression may not always help study work --- best see a good local shrink, maybe through student health, for an assessment, and if available, some CBT-style counselling which can help one handle depression, stress, and exams rather better
