Epilepsy

My son was diagnosed with epilepsy at the age of 20.How commen are that?Currently he is on Epitec 100 mg. twice daily.Is that a high or low dosage?He is seeing the neurologist every 6 months.My consern is that the doctor didn' t once listen to his heart or taken any blood samples, etc.He made his diagnose on what we told him.

What type of epilepsy does your son have and was it confirmed with an EEG? I suggest that you reconsult the neurologist with your questions.
