Fibroids and endometriosis are 2 different conditions.
Fibroids are benign tumours of the smooth muscle of the uterus (womb).
Endometriosis is a condition which in essence is the existence of endometrium (inner lining of the womb) outside of the womb, and mostly in the pelvis. It is staged according to severity.
