Egg allergy?

Dear Doc
Whenever I eat eggs I feel nauseous - does that mean I''m allergic to eggs?
Should I avoid eating eggs?
And what about eggs in ingredients?
Thanks

I doubt that you are allergic to eggs. I suggest that you consult a doctor for a gastroscopy and upper abdominal ultrasound to exclude gastric reflux disease or gallstones. In the interim, avoid eating eggs until you have consulted your doctor.

Hi Iqbal

My sister-in-law is allergic to eggs. She gets swelling in her mouth. I would go with what the doc says and also avoid eggs for now.
