Dust in Eyes

Hi Doctor,

My husband went mountain biking over the weekend and got a lot of dust in his eyes. I have given him Chloramex and Moisture Drops, but his eyes are still scratchy and red. He has also tried rinsing them in the shower.

Is there something else he can use?

Thank you for your time.

Hallo Shelby
It sounds to me as if he may have a corneal ulcer or corneal scratches due to the dust. Please ask your GP to examine his eye as he may need to get a prescription for antibiotic eyedrops or ointment.
