Duromine &  Eltroxin

I' ve doubled my prescribed doses of eltroxin to loose weight faster and took duromine 35mg. Felt terrible. Stopped duromine. Also went back to one eltroxin a day. Still not 100%. Was this combination a bad idea? What is the long term effect if I double on eltroxin than I should. (Thyroid underactive.)

Dear Amanda
A VERY bad idea! You will develop hyperthyroidism with Palpitations, Heat intolerance, Nervousness, Insomnia,
Breathlessness, Increased bowel movements, fatigue, Fast heart rate, Trembling hands, Muscle weakness, Hair loss, bulging eyes. Duromine is a type of amphetamine and is only indicated for very obese patients ( BMS >27 ) plus diabetes, hypertension, or high cholesterol.
There is no easy or quick way to lose weight - please see a dietician or follow a diet at reputable organization like Sure Slim or Weigh less.
