Dear FTD
Pregnancy makes all kinds demands on the mother's body and metabolism and can cause most pronounced changes and/or conditions including gestational diabetes and in your case, dumping syndrome. It is Essential that you should be under the care of a registered dietitian (visit the Association for Dietetics in SA Website at: www.adsa.org.za and click on "Find a Dietitian" to find a dietitian in your area). The dietitian will have to monitor your food intake and symptoms to ensure that you can continue to provide the necessary nutrients for your developing baby and not endanger your own health. So please see a dietitian immediately.
