Dud pregnancy tests

I did a home pregnancy test on Saturday. It was a dud. No lines appeared - not even the test line. Then last night I bought another brand and did the test. Same thing happened. No lines. And I followed the instructions to the letter.
I suffer from Pcos and don''t want to do a blood test as yet because of the disappointment every time.
Can cysts be the cause of the " dud"  tests?

No, either the test was defective or you did not do it correctly.

Best wishes
