Drinking water

I have maintained a lifestyle of eating healthy and drinking 2L of water during office hrs and a glass or two in the evening. Is this too much?
The " Diet tips for office workers"  article mentiones that we should not exceed a total of 1.5L of water in 24hrs as water can wash important minerals from your body and even lead to ''water intoxication''

Yes it is true that drinking excess liquids (including water) will wash important minerals out of the body, which can lead to water intoxication and electrolyte imbalances. The recommendation is that adults should not drink more than 2.5 litres of LIQUID (this includes coffee, tea, cold drinks, fruit juice, milk, water and even alcohol) per day.
