Drinkimg too much water

Good day,

We have a 10 year old boerbull and he is drinking about 3 - 4 big bowls of water a day. He does not usually drink so much. I have changed his diet but I am not sure if that is the cause. Please advise?
Thanks

Dear Taj

45ml per kg per day of water falls in normal limits. Diabetus and Cushings disease can cause excessive drinking and this should be investigated.
