down syndrome

Hi Doc,
I''m 15 weeks pregnant and am will be turning 36 in august. My doc gave me the results for the down syndrome, being 1 out of 510. What does that mean? Is it a low or a high risk?

Thanks

Don''t be too concerned I went for the down syndrome test and the lady who took the blood at 17 weeks even told me that the test are not a 100% accurate, just take care of yourself and take a lot of folic acid its good for your child. Hang in there
