Down lloking cervical mouth

Last time I went for a pap smear test my GP mentioned that it was difficult to get a specimen from the mouth of my cervix because it was facing downwards towards the rectum. Is this anything to worry about? I usually have very heavy and very painful periods, could this be related?

No it is nothing to worry about and would not be related to your heavy periods.
