Dostinex

I have just finished taking the last half of the four halves of the Dostinex (0.5 mg) tablets prescribed by my GP to stop my breasts producing milk and my breasts are very sore and full. I have huge lumps. Can I express some of the milk to relieve the agony? Will this affect the efficacy of the tablets? What can I do to stop them filling up again?

If you express, you will keep the milk production going. Cold cabbage leaves will relieve the pain till the Dostinex takes effect.

Best wishes
