The use of condoms during sexual intercourse has the advantage of protection against sexually transmitted diseases as well as a further protection against falling pregnant – that women often have an underlying fear for. Fellatio does not have the risk of falling pregnant and could be one of the reasons for choosing to take it off. It is however important to emphasize that sexually transmitted diseases are possible to contract during oral sex.
