Traditionally the best time for yoga or any spiritual practice is the time just before and including sunrise. Another good time is around sunset. Obviosly more important than the time is the regularity. So if there is a time that you find suits you and you can practice regularly at that time each day, this will be best. For yoga asana (postures) and most pranayama (breathing practices) it is recomended to do them on an empty stomach, so eat after rather than before.
