doing the same thing every day and expecting different results

i am a young 53 year old with 35 years experience in my field of expertise,i have been looking on every website every day to get a job.
have i gone insane??

YOu surely don't SOUND insane. But maybe it depends on which website you're looking at! If its one listing available jobs, what's odd about that ? If it's "cats who look like Hitler", for instance, it's fun, but carries remarkably few job offers. Unless you happen to be a cat who looks like Hitler.

What is insane about looking for a job at 53? One is never too old to learn something new or change jobs or try different ways of making a living.

You should if you haven''t yet done send your CV to as many employment agencies as possible so they have you on their records. Depending what you are looking for it may be a problem to FIND employment as we are currently going through an economic recession. If you don''t fit the BEE status then that could be another problem.

Have you thought of perhaps becoming your own boss and marketing yourself and your expertise by working as a consultant?
