Does Vit B12...

give one energy? and i really am run down bt want to go back to the gym, what supplement cant I take that really helps and give you enerygy to exersise like immediately?

The body requires vitamin B12 to build healthy blood and prevent so-called megaloblastic anaemia. Having vit B12 injections if you do not suffer from this type of anaemia, will probably not help much. However, if you have B complex injections (vitamins B1, B2, niacin and B12) then this may well help because the first 3 vitamins listed are all involved with energy metabolism. You can also take a complete vitamin and mineral supplement such as Supradyn Forte or Centrum to make you feel better if you are generally run down. A lack of energy can also indicate iron deficiency anaemia, lack of carbohydrates in the diet, or problems with insulin. If taking a complete vitamin and mineral supplement for 3 weeks does not improve your energy levels then I would recommend that you have a medical examination to see if you suffer from iron deficiency or some other underlying physical problem. If you have been ill, it is important to first recover completely before you start exercising strenuously.
