Does anti-depressants affect sperm

My husband is on 20mg Talomil. He started it 6 months ago due to the high stressors of his job that was starting to affect his mental wellbeing. Since then he has found a new job and we are trying to conceive.

Does Talomil affect sperm/male fertility? Can it cause defects with the future-fetus?

Hallo Wife
There are not many studies done on the effect of this kind of antidepressant on sperm but it seems to reduce sperm movement and can affect the quality of the sperm. 365 women who used Citalopram (main ingredient of Talomil) in early pregnancy enrolled in The Swedish Medical Birth Registry in 1999. Exposure to citalopram did not appear to increase the rate of major malformations above the expected baseline rate.
