Does anti-depressants affect sperm?

My husband is on 20mg Talomil. He started it 6 months ago due to the high stressors of his job that was starting to affect his mental wellbeing. Since then he has found a new job and we are trying to conceive.

Does Talomil affect sperm/male fertility? Can it cause defects with the future-fetus?

There have been some cases where sperm count has been affected by Talomil. It would not cause defects in the fetus. Your husband should not stop the Talomil without discussing with his doctor. Unless you struggle to conceive, you need do nothing at this stage.
