Menopause starts for different women at and during different ages. The first would be for her to actually do a series of blood tests to determine what is really going on with her hormones. The best would be for her to make an appointment with a gynecologist and discuss all the questions you have with the relevant professional. You can go with your wife to the discussion to ensure that both of you have clarity on what to expect.
