Dizziness and fatigue

Hi Doc

My husband is experiencing dizzy spells, light sensitivity, extreme fatigue and has lost his lust for life in general. I would like to know what specialist we can start with to try to get to the root of the problem?
Could this be a form of depression?
He has a highly stressful job and lost his dad a year ago.
Please can you point us in the right direction?

I appreciate your help.
Kind regards,
Sam

Hi Sam
I suggest you start at your GP - he can do the basic tests (check for anemia, depression, thyroid problems, kidney problems, heart arrythmias etc) and then refer you to a specialist if anything abnormal is picked up. It will be cheaper and easier to get an appointment too.
