Distance vs time

I am 53 years old, suffer from hypothyrodism and is overweight. What is the best: to walk further or for a longer period of time?

Hi Mokkie,

I would say both. In most cases, its to walk further. Some can walk for longer time but will cover only a short distance. Rather measure it in km's.

In your case, I would look at your heart rate while walking. If it exceeds 160 beats per minute, you shouldnt continue...
