Dear Jackie,

In some cases, a women who has a thicker hymen, after having sex, the hymen does not completely sever which could explain the pain, it is also a question of whether you are sufficiently lubricated at the point that you begin penetrative sex. You would need to start with a physical examination by your Dr.
