Different blood pressure readings.

My readining when I am sitting (Avg 150/95) is always much higher than when I am lying down (Avg 135/85). I am on medication. Any reason for this and must I be worried

Dear Eppo
There may be a slight different in the readings when you are lying down and sitting but certain blood pressure medications ( alpha blockers) tend to exaggerate this effect. You don't have to be worried about this. The best way to check your blood pressure is in the sitting position with your arm at the same level as the heart.
