Q.

Dietician &  Blood Tests

Can a Dietician refer me to have blood tests taken to ascertain if there is a medical problem causing me not to lose weight? Or should I be refered by a Dr?

Dear Beetjie
I would recommend that your dietitian should arrange with your medical doctor to request the tests because most of the medical pathology laboratories only send results of tests to medical doctors who are registered with them and not to members of the public or other health professionals who are not registered with the lab in question.
