Diabetes & Fertility

hi Doc

Just finding out I have not been diagnosed with Diabetes but have a history of it in my family I have tested my sugar a few times & It has been surprisingly high about 2 times but normal other than that. I am 25 years old & for the past 7 months I have been trying for a baby with no luck is iit true that diabetes could have an affect on my fertility.

If your sugar is normal it should not have an effect on fertility ( did you do fasting blood sugars and fasting insulin testing?) There are many other reasons why one can't fall pregnant, like irregular ovulation, previous infections, your husband's sperm count may be too low. Have you seen a gynecologist yet?
