Diabetes Balckout

Hi

I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, and control same with a good diet (thanks to my wife) and exercise.

Lately I have a very short memory, and fell down a flight of stairs, but I can not remember the actual fall, I remember starting to go down the stairs, and found myself at the bottom on my knees.

I am under sever stress at work, and the current economic down turn does not help.

Is this a symptom of diabetes or stress? I am worried as my work entails driving frequently.

Thank you

SB

Hallo SB
You may have had a black-out, so please let your doctor check your heart rythm (ECG), your blood glucose levels (HBA1c test), cholesterol and your blood pressure. Memory problems can be caused by depression, underactive thyroidgland, mini-strokes, certain medications and head injuries.
