An Occupational Medicine expert should be consulte to coordinate the whole assessment and give an opinion. The employer must follow correct labour law guidelines - a comprehensive assessment by medical experts, alternative placement and training if required, further assessment etc. Is complex - call in an expert, a solution could be found. He cannot just be fired.
