Depression and exercise

Hi Doc, just a quick question. I have read that doing regular physical exercise can really help you beat your depression. If one is on AD''s as well would a healthy diet and exercise plan enhance the efficiency of the meds as well?

Most probably. THe best evidence is for healthy exercise and diet helping to beat depression ( the more ordinary blues ) rather than Depression, the full-blown condition. So, always a good idea, a balanced diet and exercise plan would help anyone at any time, and could be a bit more useful when Depressed, as well as depressed.
