Hallo Gena
Cystitis is an infection or inflammation of the bladder. If you get it more than 3 times in a year, your GP should refer you to an urologist for further examination under anaesthetic as there may be a polyp or other cause in the bladder. It may help to take Citrosoda or Cranberry juice when you feel the first symptoms, but if it persists, you should have your urine tested and antibiotic prescribed. Type of antibiotics would depend on the cause of the infection. (Sometimes culture is needed)
