Cystitis + pregnancy + bicarbonate of soda

Hello! I am pregnant and have cyctitis. I''m getting antibiotics soon, but in the meantime I want to use somethign to just get rid of the burning. My friend said I can drink Bicarbonate of soda in water - is this safe?

hi there Sue,
i am also pregnant and suffering terrible with cystitis, i am burning like crazy and drinking water and peeing every 2 minutes, it is horrible. I have been taking alka fizz but not working, so i also need some help on what i can use.
