Dear Ziyanda
This is difficult to answer because some people tend to react negatively to cucumber and develop a lot of gas after eating it, which can make the oesophagitis worse. Other people will again not have any symptoms, so you will have to experiment by eating a small portion of cucumber (try the s-called English cucumbers which tend to cause less gas) and then monitoring your reaction. If you do develop gas and pain, then you need to avoid cucumber totally till you have recovered. This also applies to any other foods that cause a negative reaction.
