Cruise ship and sea sick

I will be going on a cruise ship for 4 days to Durban. I don’ t suffer from motion sickness so do you think I will need to take any medication. Have been told that most of the medication you take to prevent you from becoming sea sick cannot be taken in conjunction with alcohol?

Dear Coral,

If you have good sea legs then you don''t need medication. Sturgeron taken night before then an hour prior to departure is usual
advice. Drink can bring on motion sickness!
Regards,
Pete
