coxsuckievirus

i am19w pregnant and my 14month old has been exposed to coxsuckievirus at school. she is not sick yet or showing any symptoms. what is the dangers of this virus for pregnant women? should i be worried. i do have a gynae appointment in1 weeks time so if i do fall ill i will at least be able to see him.

Most coxsackie viruses do not pose any risks in pregnancy. Coxsackie B though can increase the risk of stillbirth and intrauterine stillbirth.
