Question

Could I be pregnant?

I am 27 years old and have been trying to fall pregnant for the last 7 months (I have been off the pill for this amount of time). I have a 3 year old daughter and my pregnancy was normal with no problems. My period was due on 14 January and I have yet to start. I have done several home pregnancy tests with a negative result over the last few months. I tested this morning again with what (at first glance) looked like a negative result but I noticed a faint line under the ''test'' result. Could this indicate a positive result? or am I being over-optimistic?

A faint line suggests an early pregnancy.
Re-test in a week or have a blood test.
