Corgi puppy goes into hyperdrive after eating alpo puppy food

My two and a half month old corgi puppy has these short extreme energy burst after eating alpo puppy food, once this burst is over he passes out and cannot be woken up for 15-20 minutes. Is this normal? will changing his food help?

Little puppies sleep a LOT, and play very energetically for short periods of time. Don''t wake him if he''s asleep - they need to sleep probably around 20 to 22 hours a day at this age.
