Cool Snake Facts

A few years ago we were in Betty''s Bay Western Cape for a weekend away.
Upon return and unbeknownst to us we brought a Cape Cobra home with us in the engine bay of the car. The car was parked in the garage and after the engine cooling down the snake must have looked for a warmer place to slumber. The two dogs in the yard went ballistic at the sight of the snake and cornered it, barking hysterically until we attended to them and called them in. The snake then slithered into a hole close to the pool pump and we called the Sake Man from an area close by.
He came out and advised that we do not enter the yard and that we call him the minute the snake makes an appearance. Two days later the popped out and we called the Snake Man. Snake was collected and the Snake Man advised that he would monitor the snake to see if it is injured and healthy. He called a few day''s later to advise that he released the snake successfully back into the wild.
