Contraseptives

Hi. I am currently using Yaz. My boyfriend wants me to get a loop. I do not really want to as I see it as a longterm contraceptive and I would like to try to get pregnant by late this year. Am I wrong in thinking of it as longterm contraseptive?

You are right that it is a long term contraceptive. It lasts for 5 years. You can have it removed earlier but then you would have all the expense for a short time.
Best wishes
