Contraceptives and antibiotics

I was just wondering whether there are any broad spectrum antibiotics (for flu etc) that does not counteract the effectiveness of contraceptives such as Triphasil.

Please advise!

No, you should use extra precautions while on the antibiotics and for two weeks after.

Best wishes

I had pnuemonia at the end of may, and I also asked the exact same q to my doc. There is no antibiotics that doesn't counteract the effectiveness.
Use a condom to be safe.
Good luck
