Contraceptive

Hi, Doc am 40yrs, went for a papsmear in Feb, informed the gynae about the headaches i get when i get my menstruation, he perscribed a milder contraceptive (Yasmin), which i am not using cause i am scared to fall pregnant, i am using nordette at the moment, how safe is Yasmin
