Contraception

My baby is 5.5months old and only breastfeeds at night. He does not feed allot and sometimes skips the 3am feed as he sleeps right thru. He actually uses the breast as a comfort to fall asleep. I'  m currently on Microval as a contraception and the pharmisists said that it is not strong if you do not exclusively breastfeed. On seeing that I breastfeed so little will using the combined pill have an effect on my baby.
