constipation &  pregnancy

i suffera lot from constipation an d i fail to go the toilet tis been three weeks now and i have a lot of air in my stocmach

Please liase with your gynae. In pregnancy, it is preferable to avoid laxative drugs, which stimulate the bowel wall, unless your doctor has prescribed them for you.
Naturally occuring laxatives encourage the passing of stools. Whole linseeds are safe and effective 1 tbsp sprinkled into food or added to a glass of warm water once or twice a day should suffice.
Drink at least 2 litres of water a day to help your bowel movements by keeping stools soft.
