Constant fatigue

Hi Doc,

Hope you can help.

Recently I''ve been so fatigued, I can barely keep my eyes open at work, and especially if I get home after a day''s work. I don''t feel like doing anything, I don''t want to go to the gym, or prepare my meals for the next day, or even stand up for a long period of time.

I get 8 - 9 hour''s sleep in a night, I eat six small meals a day, I excercise, I take a multi-vitamin every day... I cannot possibly see a reason why I would feel like this. I even had an entire month holiday over December. I don''t get it.

Any advice?

Hallo Sleepy
Tiredness can be caused by a few physical problems like anemia, kidney problems, low thyroid hormone levels, diabetes, underlying viral infections, or even depression. Go for a thorough medical examination and ask the doctor to also check your full blood count, blood sugar, kidney function and thyroid levels.
