congestive heart failure

Dr Bets, my daughter, 25, thinks she could have congestive heart failure. her symptoms are fatigue, recent rapid weight gain which diminishes somewhat with lymph drainage massage and very strict detox dieting, a mild tight chest cough, she is also insulin resistant and has hypothyroidism- these were diagnosed 2 years ago. She did have a heart murmur as a young child but it disappeared. Do you think she could have congestive heart failure and can it be cured- how?

Hallo Eve1
It is possible considering her symptoms, but it could also be a kidney problem. Treatment of CHF depends on the cause, so I think she should see a doctor (GP or physician) for a full medical examination, lung x/ray, ECG and heart sonar if needed, as well as blood tests to check kidney function.
