Colonoscopy

Hi Dr Anrich

I noticed on one of your responses you advised a colonoscopy once a year after the age of 50.
Would this be necessary for someone with diverticuli? I often have terrible bloating even though I am sticking to the food the dietician advised me to eat and those to stay away from. I am over 60.
Thank you for your help
