Hi There

Is it true that exercising while suffering from a cold could be potentially dangerous because this affects your heart muscles?

Thanks

Yes, this is definately true. Exercising while suffering from a cold or flu can cause heart failure, despite your age and health. Wait until all symptoms have cleared, especially fever and increased heart rate.
