Cocsix

My husband injured his cocsix (excuse spelling) about a month ago. It is still very painful. Is that normal?

Hallo Jane
It can take up to 6-8 weeks to heal especially if it was cracked. If the pain persists for longer than this he may need to see an orthopedic specialist, as sometimes cortisone injections are needed. The pain can often be caused by muscle spasms of the pelvic muscles and seeing a physiotherapist may help with this.
