Citro-soda

I''ve been feeling a bit sore in my joints and the pain seemed to disappear after I drank Citro-Soda for heartburn. Is it possible that the Citro-Soda helped for the pain in my joints and why did it help?

Hi Sandra,

First thing that comes to mind is that your joint pain was probably gout - and therefore uric acid - related. An antacid such as Citro Soda increase alkalinity and results in less less uric precipitation (stone formation) and more uric acid being eliminated from the body.
