Chronic bronchitis

My 8 year old female dachshund suffers from chronic bronchitis. What is the best treatment regime?

Hi Chris
There is no specific treatment regime as the medication required will be tailored for the individual animal. A general treatment protocol may include corticosteroids, bronchodilators and antibiotics. Adjunctive therapy may include the use of a saline nebuliser.
