WHEN CALCULATING TOTAL FAT INTAKE, WHICH FAT TYPES VALUE ON THE PRODUCT LABEL MUST BE USED. LIPITOR FORMULA IS FAT(g) x 38 DIVIDED BY TOTAL KILOJOULES x 100 = %. SUGGESTED MAX INTAKE 30%.

Dear Eugene
If you are doing this calculation based on product labels then you need to use the "Total fat" content. The other types of fat which are listed on some labels like saturated, monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats should more or less add up to the Total Fat content (give or take a few grams).
